Tell us a bit about your business. What makes you different?
Attention to detail is the most common phrase in our guest comment book. We are so proud of that! We make every effort to provide a getaway that helps one disconnect and then reconnect with themselves and others. Luxury suites and West Coast Zen surroundings give guests the space to relax and refresh in a serene environment.
Why is sustainability important to you/your business?
Sustainability is crucial for all businesses and beings to survive. Every step we make right now is much needed, if not overdue.
Why did you join GreenStep Sustainable Tourism?
I value this planet and want to protect it, not harm it. Being part of GreenStep makes me very proud that I am doing what I can to help.
What sustainability related projects, policies or initiatives do you most want travelers to know about?
Our facility is heated and cooled by a geothermal heat pump, we use all LED lighting, and we recycle/compost everything we possibly can from both business and personal use.
What are some goals and/or actions you plan to take in the future to further increase the sustainability of your business?
We are looking into installing an EV charging station in 2024 for guests to charge their vehicles while staying on site.
